Climb North is the best "little wall" in the country. It's hard to believe we built our wall in 1993, making us one of the oldest walls in the country. Although we are strictly an "indoor" facility, our 5000 plus square feet of walls provide all the basic and many advanced features which will satisfy both the advanced and beginner climber. Our wall offers top roping with over 30 routes of various levels and unlimited possibilities. We also provide an excellent bouldering experience. Advanced climbers will enjoy our features including cracks, roof climbing, chimneys, and laybacks. Beginners will find a safe, friendly atmosphere in which to learn about this exciting sport. We provide rental equipment including harnesses, shoes, chalk bags and helmets.

Haiti Soles for Souls Flyer

The earthquake that hit Haiti on January 13th was an unbelievable tragedy.
We all feel the urge to help and when this opportunity presented itself, I
thought it was a good chance for us to get involved. I am asking for your
support and promotion of the Pittsburgh's Got Soul campaign for the
survivors of the Haiti earthquake.  Encourage our students to get  involved
and help them develop a sense of social conscience and global awareness.  No
matter how bad we think our lives are, there are those whose suffering can
be relieved by a simple gesture. 

Perhaps you can send this flyer to your friends, neighbors or family members
as well.  Please explain to everyone, that these are to be slightly worn
shoes, not high heels, and that a $2 donation to help defray the cost of the
shoes would be helpful. 

I have asked the team parents to organize a "friendship-bracelet-thank-you"
gift project to be made in the Haiti flag colors. I felt that by asking our
team kids to make the "thank-you-bracelet" they can be giving their efforts
to the Haiti Relief. We will give one to any kids who brings a shoe
donation.  Pleae record the names of any kids who bring in a donation.

I have also sent this to Karen Clark to invite the Tri-State teams to bring
a donation when they come to the meet if they would like.
